Welcome to Bartow Golf Course

Bartow Golf Course is an old school traditional golf course which originally opened as a 9 hole course in 1919.  In December of 1926 the course was opened as a Links Style 18 hole course designed by Donald Ross.  The Par 72 course features four sets of tees ranging from 5200 yards to 6600 yards with no homes, just you and Mother Nature.  The Bartow Golf Course is better known to most as the “TOW”.  The “TOW” has hosted the Youth Villa Classic for over 50 years, raising money for the Sherriff Youth Ranch in Bartow along with many other Tournament events.  The beauty of the Oaks and peaceful wildlife mixed with the challenging greens and casual dog legs scattered with water hazards throughout makes the “TOW” a diamond in the rough!!

Come enjoy a nice relaxing casual day at the “TOW”!!

The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches were founded by the Florida Sheriffs Association as a nonprofit, residential childcare agency in 1957; the Youth Ranches statewide network of care has served thousands of Florida’s needy and deserving children. Dedicated to the prevention of juvenile delinquency and the development of lawful, productive citizens, the Youth Ranches include four residential childcare campuses and two camps helping to restore home, fulfill dreams, and prepare boys and girls for the future.

Additionally, community-based services provide intensive family counseling, family life education, foster care, and other services to as many of Florida’s troubled and at-risk children as possible.

Today, and throughout their history, the ranches have depended on the generosity of private donations as their primary funding source. Many generous individuals have shared their resources to help these deserving boys and girls begin anew.
